Configuring External Data Sources

Older Versions of Label software create .LBL files just as the current version and can be opened and used readily in the new version of Labelview. There are some settings that will need to be adjusted to allow the Labels to open in Labelview 7.X with error.

 On the main menu select Options then click on Directories.....

In this Window you will see a whole host of Path settings. These settings must all match the path settings in your original version in which you created your old labels.  

The ODBC data source box needs to connect to a valid data source name on your new computer.  If your new system does not have the data source created thru ODBC you can create it by selecting the Data Source button.
