Older Versions of Label software create .LBL files just as the current version and can be opened and used readily in the new version of Labelview. There are some settings that will need to be adjusted to allow the Labels to open in Labelview 7.X with error.

 On the main menu select Options then click on Directories.....

In this Window you will see a whole host of Path settings. These settings must all match the path settings in your original version in which you created your old labels.  These paths point to support files that are created by Labelview automatically during the design process. If the path is not correct Labelview will ask every time the label is open for the file. By default the path is set to c:\LVX0 in older versions and if it was left unchanged then the Version 7 defaults should be changed to C:\LV60 (for example).
